My journey to becoming a Jackson Hole video production professional began with a love for the mountains. Originally a ski racer from New Hampshire, I moved to Jackson Hole after college in 2001. Photo and video were initially a means to an end – a way to support my desire to spend as much time as possible in the mountains. This passion led me to spend a couple of years working with Teton Gravity Research, capturing stunning footage of world-class skiers in breathtaking mountain settings. Building on that experience, I co-founded KGB Productions with a college friend and, in 2020, established Pope Productions. Pope Productions is a Jackson Hole-based company providing scalable, turnkey video production and production support services. From pre-production planning and on-location shooting to post-production editing and delivery, we handle all aspects of your project. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with incredible brands such as Nike, Patagonia, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Anthropologie, and Volkswagen, delivering high-quality video content for diverse needs. While I'm proud of the work I've done in video production and production support, my connection to Jackson Hole is deeply personal. I continue to pursue this career as a way to spend as much time as possible with my family – my wife, Alex, and my five-year-old son, Gus – in the mountains I love.
